"Today I will be reviewing Scvtterbrvin’s album, “Active Psycho”. Scvtterbrvin is originally from San Diego, but I believe he currently resides in NY. This album was inspired by Basketball and Grafitti. This album features really dope production from Spookygang’s OG Milky Wayne to Kheyzine, Gabonano, al.divino and Scvtterbrvin himself. This project is a lyrical masterpiece with that grimey boom bap sound we all Hip Hop heads love! The first track, “Isolationism” grabs you instantly the piano on the track is crazy! Kheyzine killed it on the production!
"Scvtter’s delivery is deadly it bashes your skull! Every chance he gets he reps his city of San Diego! The album consists of 10 tracks with an approximate running time of 20 minutes. Scvtterbrvin has mastered his craft and this project is proof! He paints a picture with his lyrics like Michelangelo! The entire project is dope with hard hitting beats and ill lyricism!" -

"Half Latino - half Asian artist, from way off San Diego, SCVTTERBRVIN is no newcomer to the game, or this blog for that matter. He's been rapping for 10+ years and released more than 10 albums along the way, and he's showing no signs of slowing down any time soon…
SCVTTERBRVIN got a MF DOOM quality to his lyrical content, as he often raps about popular culture, blending it all together in a true Post Modern fashion, in that sense it only seems fitting that he chose the newest villian in the Star Wars franchise: Kylo Ren as his "alter ego" on his newest joint. Kylo Ren is an ill tempered Psycho that makes good old uncle Vader look like the Easter bunny in comparison. As Kylo MC Ren he raps his way thru 10 tracks by 10 different producers (himself included) that, tho they throw everything at him, from Middle Eastern instruments, over "easy listening" strings, to hardcore boom bap, every single beat seems tailor made for him, as always on a SCVTTER album the production is super dope!
With a rapper like SCVTTERBRVIN you won't get a lot of personal emo shit or "deep" intellectual lyrics. What you do get instead is a cool flow and entertaining lyrics in abundance over high quality instrumentals! Thank God for that, since he's been perfecting his style for a longer time than most rappers whole careers. If you look back at his past 3 releases they have dropped with only 2 months between them. And still he don't compromise on the quality. SCVTTERBRVIN is a true star in this New Renaissance!" -
